ITV Launches ‘Farming For Love’ to Help Farmers Find Romance

Farmers looking for love are the focus of a new ITV dating series, “Farming For Love,” inspired by the internationally acclaimed show Farmer Wants a Wife. Since its debut in 2001, the original format has found remarkable success worldwide, leading to over 250 weddings and more than 600 children.

The series follows single farmers as they seek a partner who not only shares their romantic interests but is also eager to embrace the farming lifestyle. Contestants choose from applications submitted by potential matches and invite them to experience life on the farm firsthand.

As they live and work together day-to-day, the farmers and their guests explore whether genuine connections can blossom amidst the challenges and rewards of agricultural life. At the end of each journey, the farmer faces the tough decision of selecting the person they believe is their perfect match.

Farming For Love has all the heart, humour and authenticity that make a great dating show.”

Katie Rawcliffe, ITV’s director of entertainment, reality and daytime television, describes the series as “a love story with farming at the heart of it,” adding, “Farming For Love is funny, feel-good, and heartwarming.”

With its roots firmly planted in a format that has aired in over 34 countries and celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, “Farming For Love” is set to capture the hearts of viewers and bring fresh romance to British farms.
