This summer, Blenheim Palace invites visitors to explore the rich legacy of aristocratic fashion and treasured heirlooms through two exclusive new experiences. Central to this initiative is Ladies of Blenheim: Style and Celebration, an extraordinary exhibition showcasing iconic gowns, delicate accessories, and heirloom pieces worn by generations of Spencer-Churchill women. Running until Saturday, August 31, many of these rare garments—some not displayed in over twenty years—reflect momentous occasions from coronations to society weddings, offering a fascinating glimpse into both personal and national history.
From Fridays through Sundays until October, visitors can also participate in the interactive Meet the Collections Team sessions at 2 pm. These guided talks provide a unique behind-the-scenes view of some of Blenheim’s most prized treasures, including newly conserved Boulle coffers crafted by a cabinetmaker to Louis XIV, and an 18th-century tapestry depicting the Battle of Arbela, unseen for nearly a century.
Carmen Alvarez, Blenheim Palace’s Collections and Conservation Manager, said, “This summer, we invite visitors to connect deeply with the stories, celebrations, and exquisite craftsmanship that breathe life into history through these extraordinary objects.”

These exhibitions are part of the palace’s 75th anniversary celebrations since opening its doors to the public. Alongside, a series of seasonal events titled 75 Things To Do will unfold across the Palace, Park, Gardens, and Adventure Play.
Admission to both the Ladies of Blenheim exhibition and the Meet the Collections Team experiences is included with a valid Palace & Gardens Ticket or a Palace and Play Pass, which offers entry for a full year.
