Inside Joel Dommett’s Private Life with Model Wife Hannah Cooper

Joel Dommett is best known for his vibrant TV presence, from hosting The Masked Singer to co-presenting I’m a Celebrity: Unpacked. Despite his public persona, Joel keeps his private life largely out of the spotlight. However, fans are eager to know more about his long-term relationship with model Hannah Cooper and their growing family.

Hannah, born in Holland, launched her modelling career as a teenager after being discovered in London. She has worked with top brands such as Warehouse, Barbour, M&S, Boux Avenue, and GHD. Beyond modelling, Hannah boasts a strong social media following with over 144,000 Instagram followers and is an active ambassador for Brain Tumour Support—a cause deeply personal to her after her mother’s diagnosis in late 2020.

Joel and Hannah’s love story began in 2016 shortly after Joel’s stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Hannah broke the ice by sending Joel a direct message on Instagram, starting their journey together. Joel fondly recalls, “She sent me a DM simply containing (cat heart eyes emoji) – and I will never tire of telling people she messaged me first.”

As a sentimental nod to this digital beginning, the couple decorated their home with a neon sign that reads, “You had me at emoji,” a playful take on the iconic phrase from Jerry Maguire.

Their relationship blossomed quickly. Joel announced their engagement on Instagram in 2017 with a creative video showing a door lock switching from ‘Vacant’ to ‘Engaged.’ Two years later, they wed in a small, intimate ceremony on the sun-drenched Greek island of Mykonos. Close friend and Love Island narrator Iain Stirling officiated the wedding, which Joel described as “genuinely the best day of my life,” emphasizing the joyous atmosphere shared with 28 close friends and family members.

In 2023, the couple welcomed their son Wilde. Joel shared the joyful news with a humorous video on social media, where he proudly carried a baby car seat, joking about finally doing the “hot dad walk.” The couple are now preparing for their second child, with Joel candidly admitting mixed emotions: “We’re excited, but I think ‘petrified’ is winning… the idea of looking after another kid – I just can’t imagine how chaotic it’s going to be.”

Joel Dommett’s new ITV show Celebrity Sabotage premieres on Saturday, March 21, at 8 pm, marking another exciting chapter in his flourishing career.
