Inside Joel Dommett’s Private Life with Model Wife Hannah Cooper

Joel Dommett has become a familiar face on British television, known for his vibrant presenting on shows like The Masked Singer and I’m a Celebrity: Unpacked. Yet, while fans admire his on-screen energy, he keeps much of his private life out of the spotlight.

Joel, originally from Gloucestershire, has been with his wife Hannah Cooper for around ten years. The couple recently announced they are expecting their second child, adding to their growing family.

Hannah, born in Holland, was discovered as a model in London during her teenage years. Her successful career includes collaborations with major brands such as Warehouse, Barbour, M&S, Boux Avenue, and GHD. Beyond modeling, she has cultivated a strong social media presence, boasting 144,000 Instagram followers.

Passionate about giving back, Hannah is an ambassador for Brain Tumour Support, motivated by her mother’s brain tumour diagnosis in December 2020.

The couple’s story began in 2016 after Joel’s appearance on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Hannah reached out to Joel first via a simple Instagram direct message containing just a cat heart eyes emoji — a move Joel fondly recalls. This spark led to their first meeting and blossoming romance.

Reflecting their digital meet-cute, they have a neon sign in their home that plays on the famous Jerry Maguire line, reading: “You had me at emoji.”

Joel announced their engagement in 2017 through an Instagram video showing a door lock sliding from “Vacant” to “Engaged.” Two years later, they married in an intimate beach ceremony on the Greek island of Mykonos, officiated by close friend and Love Island narrator Iain Stirling.

Describing their wedding to OK! magazine, Joel called it “the best day of my life,” emphasizing the joy of celebrating with just 28 close friends and family members.

In 2023, Joel and Hannah welcomed their son Wilde. Joel shared the joyful news on social media with a humorous clip of himself carrying a baby car seat and joking about the “hot dad walk.”

Looking ahead to expanding their family, Joel expressed both excitement and nerves about the arrival of their second child, acknowledging the challenges but embracing the adventure.

Joel Dommett’s new ITV show, Celebrity Sabotage, premieres Saturday, March 21 at 8pm.
