The much-anticipated new series of Clarkson’s Farm premieres this month on Prime Video, with Jeremy Clarkson and his team diving into fresh challenges at Diddly Squat Farm. This season features familiar faces like Kaleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan, and Charlie Ireland, alongside newcomer Harriet Cowan, who steps in while Kaleb is away on his UK tour.
Since the show’s debut in 2021, Kaleb Cooper has captured viewers’ hearts with his blunt humor, insightful farming expertise, and memorable comebacks, quickly becoming a staple of the series.
Beyond the cameras, Kaleb’s life story reveals the roots of his resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. Growing up amid his parents’ divorce, Kaleb stepped up at an early age to support his mother financially. In his third book, he candidly detailed the struggles his family faced: “My mum was struggling to pay the rent, so I stood up and decided, ‘I’m going to be the man of this house.’ I helped pay the electric, gas, rent, and petrol.”

Driven by necessity and ambition, Kaleb launched his own egg distribution business at just 13 years old, selling eggs at 25p each for a 10p profit. His venture flourished, eventually expanding to 450 chickens and several sheep. By age 15, he even owned his first tractor. Reflecting on his early days, he shared with Heat Magazine, “Farming saved me as a person…I think I’d be horrible if farming hadn’t come along. The divorce wasn’t easy, and it made me a bit of an a***hole.”
In his personal life, Kaleb has built a stable and loving family with partner Kaya, to whom he proposed after almost a decade together. The couple announced their engagement on Christmas Day 2022, with a heartfelt social media post celebrating their journey and looking forward to their future together.
They are parents to two young children—three-year-old son Oscar and daughter Willa Grace, born in 2023. Witnessing Kaya’s childbirth was a profoundly different experience from what Kaleb is used to on the farm. He shared with The Times, “Helping a cow give birth, I know exactly what to do. But seeing Taya in pain while bringing our child into the world made me feel completely helpless.”
Excitingly, the family is expecting their third child in August this year, continuing their growing legacy.
Though Kaleb admits he hadn’t heard of Jeremy Clarkson before the show, their relationship has since blossomed into a genuine friendship. Kaleb appreciates Clarkson as a mentor, especially in navigating the television world: “He’s been like a father figure to me when it comes to TV. I’ve learned from the best, and despite the usual bickering, there’s a lot of respect and affection.”
Their friendship is marked by quick reconciliations, often sealed with a cup of tea or trips to the pub. Kaleb explains, “We don’t hold grudges—the arguments end fast and we move on.”
Clarkson’s Farm returns for its fourth season on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, 23 May, promising more laughter, insight, and the unfiltered charm fans have come to love.
