Gloucester’s Kingsholm Stadium is set to come alive with live music this summer for the first time in seven years, featuring an exciting lineup of acclaimed artists. Leading the bill is iconic Australian singer and actress Natalie Imbruglia, who will perform on Sunday, June 28, as part of the Kingsholm Summer Series.
Natalie Imbruglia rose to global fame nearly 30 years ago with her 1997 debut album, propelled by the smash hit single “Torn.” The song reached number two on the Official UK Charts and topped charts across eight other countries, firmly establishing her as a 90s music icon. Throughout her career, the 51-year-old has released six studio albums, with a seventh expected later this year, and has earned numerous accolades, including eight ARIA Awards, two Brit Awards, a Billboard Music Award, and three Grammy nominations.
Joining Imbruglia on stage that evening is 31-year-old Nathan Evans, the Scottish singer who found fame on TikTok during the Covid-19 lockdown through his captivating sea shanty performances. Evans achieved a UK number one with his modern rendition of the 19th century folk song “Wellerman.” He will be supported by the Scottish folk duo Saint PHNX, adding depth to this diverse musical lineup.

The event will also feature legendary Sir Tom Jones, already announced as the weekend’s headliner. A staple of Kingsholm Stadium, Jones previously sold out the venue in 2012 and wowed 17,000 fans in 2017. His 2026 performance promises timeless hits and unforgettable showmanship from a career spanning six decades.
Sir Tom Jones expressed his enthusiasm about returning to Kingsholm: “I can’t wait to return to Kingsholm Stadium on Sunday 28th June. Gloucester audiences are always fantastic, and with such talented artists joining the bill, it’s going to be a wonderful night of music.”
Natalie Imbruglia shared her excitement as well: “I’m so excited to be performing at Kingsholm this summer alongside Tom Jones. We first worked together on his Reload album back in 1999, so it’s really special to be sharing the stage together again. He’s an artist I’ve admired for many years, and I know it’s going to be such a special night in Gloucester.”
Nathan Evans added: “Gloucester! We’re so excited to see you on Sunday 28th June, supporting none other than the legend himself, Tom Jones. It’s going to be an incredible night, and we can’t wait to bring the energy to Kingsholm.”
Beyond the music, the Kingsholm Summer Series will deliver a full festival experience, featuring curated food and drink options provided by Freemans Event Partners and lively fan zones designed to enhance the atmosphere.
Gloucester Rugby’s CEO, Alex Brown, emphasized the event’s significance: “The response to this year’s Kingsholm Summer Series has already been fantastic, and today’s announcement only adds to the excitement. Tom Jones returning to Kingsholm alongside Natalie Imbruglia and Nathan Evans & The Saint PHNX Band will make for a truly memorable Sunday night in Gloucester, with this year’s Kingsholm Summer Series set to be another standout event for the City.”
The weekend kicks off on Saturday, June 27, with Ministry of Sound Classical, featuring a 31-piece orchestra that reimagines classic dance tracks with special guests Sigma and Sonique. The night also includes a live broadcast of England’s World Cup group stage match against Panama, transforming Kingsholm’s rugby pitch into a football fan hub.
Tickets for the Kingsholm Summer Series are on sale now, starting at £49.50 for Ministry of Sound Classical and £54.50 for the Tom Jones headliner event.
