I Visited Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm Shop and Noticed One Major Change

YouTuber Gary Hanna, known for his food reviews on the channel @GaryEats, recently returned to Jeremy Clarkson’s famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop after a gap of almost three years. His previous visit dated back to November 2020, and he was eager to see if the farm shop had maintained its quality over time.

During this new visit, Gary sampled a selection of sandwiches from the shop’s display, accompanied by some fries. While enjoying his meal, he noticed a surprising change: the farm shop now offers both brown sauce and red tomato ketchup as condiment options. This was a notable update, as Jeremy Clarkson had previously stated he wouldn’t have brown sauce available there.

Gary enthusiastically commented, “I added the brown sauce, now if you want brown sauce or tomato ketchup. That is amazing. Very unusual for Jeremy; he said he’d never have it here.”

He wrapped up his visit by giving the Diddly Squat Farm Shop an impressive rating of eight out of 10, reflecting a high standard of quality. This positive feedback aligns with Google reviews, where the farm shop holds just under four and a half out of five stars.

On the business side, Gary also mentioned that Diddly Squat was gearing up to host Cereals, one of the largest and most significant trade events in the agricultural sector. Jeremy Clarkson himself highlighted the importance of the event, emphasizing its impact on national agriculture and local farming communities. He remarked, “This is an important event, not just the agriculture sector nationally but for our local farming communities too. Farming is an industry that is in deep trouble. I have the honour to try to put something back into this beleaguered world.”

The farm shop has recently gained renewed attention thanks to the launch of season five of Clarkson’s Farm. Alongside this, the spotlight has been on Jeremy after he revealed his prostate cancer diagnosis during the show’s final episodes. The announcement triggered an outpouring of support worldwide.

Now 66, Jeremy Clarkson has since announced he is in remission. In an interview with the Sunday Times, he reflected on his journey: “I am without a doubt, officially, the world’s luckiest man. It was an aggressive type of cancer. It could have spread, it could have gone into the pancreas, it could have gone anywhere, and that would have been trouble.”

Using Instagram, Jeremy also reassured fans and urged men to get screened early, saying, “You will have noticed that I’m not dead. The reason why I’m fine is because the doctors caught the prostate cancer early, and they caught it early because I got tested.”
