Meanwhile, Robbie Savage’s Forest Green Rovers enter the play-offs as the lowest-ranked side, eager to bounce back to League Two after their relegation in 2024. They dominated a struggling Morecambe side 5-0 on Saturday and have lost only once in their last six games.
The two teams met twice this season: Forest Green edged a 2-1 victory at home in October, while their February encounter ended in a 1-1 draw, underscoring how evenly matched they are.
