Holly Willoughby’s Company Granted More Time to Resolve £377,000 HMRC Tax Debt

Holly Willoughby’s media company, Roxy Media, has been given an extension to address a significant tax debt owed to His Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC). The firm, owned by the TV presenter and her husband Dan Baldwin, was previously issued a winding-up order this year due to an outstanding £377,000 tax liability.

During an April hearing at the Insolvency and Companies Court, it was revealed that the tax debt had been reduced from a higher undisclosed amount. The court granted a 12-week adjournment to allow the company time to settle the debt.

At a subsequent hearing on Wednesday, HMRC’s representative Charlotte Cooke informed the court that Roxy Media was attempting to appeal the case at a tax tribunal. However, no confirmation was provided about any repayments made towards the debt. Cooke emphasized HMRC’s opposition to the late appeal, stating, “This has gone on long enough.”

Michael Collins, representing Roxy Media, confirmed the company was pursuing the tribunal appeal but did not disclose details regarding the nature of the challenge. The firm is currently awaiting a date for the tribunal hearing.

Judge Sally Barber of the Insolvency and Companies Court has now adjourned the case until August 20, providing the company with further time to resolve the dispute.

Roxy Media was established by Willoughby and Baldwin to manage media clients, with Companies House records showing Baldwin appointed as director in 2008 and Willoughby in 2014. Willoughby is widely recognized for her work as a presenter on ITV’s daytime show This Morning.
