Despite these challenges, Unity Holidays, the operator of Brean Leisure Park, has issued a reassuring statement via social media, emphasizing that the wider resort remains operational and unaffected. Unity Holidays clarified that while Brean Theme Park leases land from them, it operates as an independent business and is not owned by Unity.

The statement confirmed that other popular facilities—such as Unity Beach, Brean Splash Waterpark, Brean Play soft play, and Brean Gym—will continue to operate as planned. In fact, significant investment is underway, including a £10.2 million refurbishment of the splash park featuring new outdoor pools, a lido-style area, a lazy river, and upgraded changing rooms aimed at enhancing the visitor experience for the 2026 season.
