Each week, we pay tribute to those from Gloucestershire whose lives have touched many, sharing their stories and memories through death notices published in our newspaper and online. All notices are also available on funeral-notices.co.uk – the UK’s leading site for death and memorial announcements.
These permanent online tributes provide families and friends a secure space to remember and celebrate their loved ones by sharing photos, heartfelt messages, and making donations in their memory. This week, we honour 32 individuals from our area whose passing has deeply affected their families and communities.
Among those remembered is Kathleen from Cheltenham, who passed peacefully on 4th February 2026 at age 88, survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family invites donations in her name to Cancer Research UK.

Philip, who died at 92, was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His funeral service will be held at Gloucester Crematorium with donations welcomed for Dementia UK.
Arnold, aged 94, of Hardwicke, who passed at a care home, will be fondly remembered by his family, with contributions suggested for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Many other individuals are fondly commemorated, including Tony, Bev, Mary, David, Barbara, and Sylvia, each with unique stories, families, and charities close to their hearts. Services are scheduled across local churches and crematoriums, reflecting the community’s support and respect for those who have passed.
We extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends during this difficult time. To read full announcements and add tributes, visit funeral-notices.co.uk or contact our support team who can assist in creating funeral notices.
