Harry Isted and Jordan Moore-Taylor Depart Forest Green Rovers After Contract Decisions

Forest Green Rovers have confirmed that former captain Jordan Moore-Taylor and goalkeeper Harry Isted will not be offered new contracts following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.

Moore-Taylor, aged 32, faced a challenging season due to injury, making just 23 league appearances after suffering a broken ankle midway through the campaign. Unfortunately, he also missed the crucial play-off eliminator because of a foot infection. Despite these setbacks, Moore-Taylor remains a notable figure within the squad and is reportedly attracting interest from Torquay United, who are preparing for their National League South promotion play-off final this weekend.

Harry Isted, 29, had been a consistent presence between the posts since joining Forest Green in November. He featured in every league match following his arrival, except for the final regular-season game against Morecambe when manager Robbie Savage opted to rest key players. Initially left uncertain after the release of the retained list, Isted was ultimately informed that budget constraints prevented the club from renewing his contract.
