If you’re a fan of Clarkson’s Farm, Harriet Cowan is a name you won’t soon forget. She first captured viewers’ hearts last year when she stepped in while Kaleb Cooper was on tour, quickly becoming a beloved part of the show. As the series returns to Prime Video on June 3, anticipation is high to see if Harriet will make another memorable appearance alongside Jeremy Clarkson.
Since her introduction to the show, Harriet’s life has transformed dramatically. With over 600,000 Instagram followers, she has developed a devoted fan base, showcasing a fascinating “double life.” On one hand, she shares authentic glimpses into farming life—working with tractors, lambing season, and the daily realities of farm work. On the other, she steps out in full glamour for events like music festivals and prestigious award ceremonies, including the National Television Awards (NTA) last year.
Reflecting on her rise to fame, Harriet spoke candidly about the contrasts she’s experienced. Posting after the NTAs, she wrote: “OH MY GOD! I had the most incredible night at the @officialntas, and to top it off WE WON!!! Clarkson’s Farm has been one of the best things to happen to the farming industry, showing the truth behind it all and spotlighting the challenges farmers face every day. I am so proud to be part of a show that has made such a huge impact and hope we made all those hardworking farmers proud. We represented you guys last night. Honestly, thank you so much for voting. You’ve made our year!! Now the cows are hungry, so back to work!!”

This joyful moment stood in stark contrast to the gritty, hands-on farm posts that she regularly shares, painting a rich picture of her life between these two worlds.
Adding another exciting milestone, Harriet announced in May that she is authoring a book titled Life on the Farm, expected to be published in 2026. Sharing the news on Instagram, she revealed, “This is such a personal project for me. Inside, I share what the farming way of life truly means, the values I live by, and what a typical day on the farm really looks like. I also wanted to open up about the challenges and realities Britain’s farmers face today, and why buying local isn’t just a slogan — it’s a way of life. Farming has been handed down through generations in my family, and it means so much more than putting food on the table — it’s about community, love, resilience, and hard work every single day. I can’t wait to share my story with you all.”
While it remains uncertain whether Harriet will return for the upcoming series, she has urged fans to wait and see what unfolds. What is clear, however, is that her life has been forever altered since she first appeared on screen. Harriet recently left her full-time nursing position and has shared ambitions to acquire a smallholding of her own.
Speaking to Hello Magazine, she reflected, “I’m living everyone’s dream.”
Clarkson’s Farm returns to screens on June 3, ready to bring more behind-the-scenes farm life—and hopefully more moments with Harriet Cowan.
