Greatfield Park Primary School in Cheltenham is celebrating 30 years since opening its doors in 1995. To mark this special milestone, the school is hosting ‘Greatfest’—an afternoon of fun, nostalgia, and community spirit—and they want to reconnect with former pupils and staff from the past three decades.
The anniversary event will take place on Friday, June 27, from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm on the school grounds located on Hulbert Crescent, Up Hatherley. Organized by the dedicated Greatfield Park PTA, Greatfest invites alumni, past teachers, current students, families, and friends to come together for food, entertainment, and shared memories.
Since its establishment, Greatfield Park has seen approximately 1,200 students pass through its classrooms. Headteacher Jenny Robbins expressed enthusiasm about reconnecting with these former pupils and staff: “We are especially eager to reconnect with those who have been part of Greatfield Park’s journey since 1995. Their stories and experiences form an invaluable part of our school’s legacy, and we look forward to celebrating together at Greatfest.”

The event promises a lively atmosphere with a barbecue, inflatables for children, a bar for adults, and a special performance by Phil Hammond’s Cotswold Children’s Parties. The celebration is proudly sponsored by CJ Hole, who themselves are commemorating 30 years in business.
