The Great British Bake Off 2025 has concluded with a historic win as Jasmine was crowned the series champion after an exhilarating final against fellow finalists Aaron and Tom.
This year’s Channel 4 show featured twelve amateur bakers competing to impress the esteemed judges, Dame Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, with the ever-charismatic Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond hosting the series.
Throughout the competition, viewers witnessed a rollercoaster of brilliant showstoppers, unexpected disasters, and inventive flavours that showcased each baker’s creativity and skill. After weeks of intense baking battles, Jasmine, Aaron, and Tom emerged as the final three contenders.

In a nail-biting finale broadcasted tonight, Jasmine was declared the winner, joining the ranks of previous champions like John Whaite and Nadiya Hussain. Overjoyed by her achievement, Jasmine shared, “I am overjoyed. Balancing exams and baking was challenging, but I’ve done it, and I’m unbelievably happy.”
Fellow finalists Aaron and Tom expressed their respect and admiration for Jasmine’s steady performance throughout the series. Aaron said, “It was always you,” while Tom admitted, “There was no other way that could have gone today.”
Dame Prue praised Jasmine’s consistency and extraordinary talent, describing her performance as “almost unheard of.” Paul Hollywood added, “To win five star bakers and then the overall title is unprecedented. Jasmine’s journey has been incredible, and she’s the best winner we have seen in quite some time.”
The final challenges were demanding: Tom recovered from mixing citric acid instead of salt with a first-place technical challenge win; Aaron strove to top the second round, and Jasmine overcame a technical setback to showcase her true baking prowess in the final showstopper—a grand centerpiece cake measuring 1.2 meters.
Host Alison Hammond summarized the finalists’ talent: “If we could create one person out of the three of them, we’d have the perfect baker.” The contestants were tasked with creating elegant, sophisticated, and record-breaking cakes, pushing their skills to the limit in the last chance to impress.
The Great British Bake Off 2025 demonstrated why it remains a beloved fixture in British television, celebrating culinary creativity and baking excellence every week.
