Gloucestershire Postcode Areas Where House Prices Are Soaring – and the Cheapest Place to Buy

Gloucester’s GL1 postcode stands out as the most affordable place to buy a home in Gloucestershire. Over the 12 months leading up to April, properties in this area sold for an average of £205,106—the lowest average for any postcode with at least 20 sales in the county.

Following GL1, Cinderford’s GL14 area offers the next cheapest housing options, with an average sale price of £266,756. Other affordable locations include GL4 in Gloucester (£284,316), GL15 in Blakeney (£294,721), and GL16 in Coleford (£302,706).

At the other end of the spectrum, Broadway’s WR12 postcode recorded the highest average house price in Gloucestershire, with homes selling for an average of £666,215 in the past year. Charlbury’s OX7 area came next, with an average price of £614,481, followed by GL55 in Chipping Campden (£576,830), GL54 in Cheltenham (£561,892), and GL56 in Moreton-in-Marsh (£536,014).
