Gloucestershire Pensioner Denies Decades-Old Sexual Abuse Charges

David Hoskins, a 75-year-old resident of Ryelands Road, Stonehouse, has appeared at Gloucester Crown Court to face serious allegations of indecent assault involving two boys under the age of 14. The charges span multiple incidents allegedly occurring between 1966 and 1971 in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, and between 1992 and 1999 in Margate, Kent.

Hoskins pleaded not guilty to seven counts of indecent assault and has been granted bail pending his next appearance scheduled for December 2026 at Gloucester Crown Court.

Gloucestershire Police have requested that anyone with relevant information come forward, quoting reference number 41299/22. A police spokesperson emphasized the importance of ensuring the accused’s right to a fair trial and urged the public to refrain from sharing any content online that could prejudice the case.
