Gloucestershire Music Teacher to Stand Trial After Denying Child Sex Offences

Philip Anderson, a 49-year-old private music teacher from Gloucestershire, is set to face trial next year after pleading not guilty to multiple child sex offence charges.

He denies six counts of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13 by inappropriate touching. These charges stem from alleged incidents involving five girls over a four-year period at two schools in Gloucestershire where Anderson was employed.

In addition, Anderson faces two counts of sexual assault related to a girl he privately tutored at his home music studio.
