A 55-year-old man from Gloucestershire has been charged with 51 offences involving child sexual abuse. The defendant, a white British national, is accused of committing the offences against several children to whom he is related, over an extended period.
Charges brought against him include causing or inciting children to engage in sexual activity, sexual assault by touching, sexual assault by penetration, and rape. To protect the identities of the victims, GloucestershireLive is withholding the man’s name.
He appeared in court on Thursday, 20 August, where he was remanded in custody. His next hearing is scheduled for Friday, 18 September.
