Gloucestershire Local Elections 2025: Full Results Revealed

The recently concluded local elections in Gloucestershire have resulted in a significant shift in the county council’s composition. The Liberal Democrats emerged as the largest party, securing 27 seats. Reform UK made considerable gains, securing 11 seats and the Greens followed closely with nine seats. The Conservatives, who had previously held control for 20 years, suffered a major setback, dropping to fourth place with only six seats. Labour managed to secure one seat, alongside one Independent councillor.

The election process took place on Thursday across all six areas of Gloucestershire, with the counting commencing on Friday morning and concluding in the mid-afternoon.
