The Woolpack’s consistent accolades aren’t new. It has previously been highlighted by The Good Food Guide and GloucestershireLive as one of the country’s premier pubs. Joining The Woolpack, The George in Kempsford also earned a place in the expanded 51-100 list, ranking at number 54, further showcasing Gloucestershire’s depth of culinary excellence.
Other notable Cotswolds gastropubs making the main top 50 list this year include The Bell in Langford (20), The Bull in Charlbury (28), The Killingworth Castle in Woodstock (37), The Mason’s Arms in Bampton (44), and The Wild Rabbit in Kingham (45). Beyond Gloucestershire, Somerset is represented by The Three Horseshoes in Batcombe at number 14, and The Queen of Cups in Glastonbury at number 42.
