This week, GloucestershireLive and its sister print titles have published heartfelt funeral and death notices paying tribute to 30 cherished members of the Gloucestershire community. These notices honour loved ones who have either recently passed or whose memories continue to be celebrated, offering comfort to family and friends during difficult times.
Between April 18 and April 24, 27 death notices appeared in our funeral section for residents of the city and surrounding areas, alongside two in memoriam messages and one acknowledgement. Announcing loved ones’ passings in local media remains a valued tradition, and we take pride in the trust placed in us to share these important messages.
Every notice published in the newspaper and on our site is also available on funeral-notices.co.uk, the UK’s leading platform for death notices and memorials. Here, families and friends find a permanent, respectful space to honor their loved ones — by sharing memories, adding tributes and photos, and making charitable donations in their names.

Among the notices published recently are poignant farewells to individuals of all ages and walks of life, from beloved parents, grandparents, and partners to devoted friends and community members. Funeral and memorial services were held across Gloucestershire’s crematoria and sacred spaces, with many families kindly requesting donations to causes close to their loved ones’ hearts in lieu of flowers.
We extend our deepest sympathies to all the families and friends mourning these losses and honour the memories of those whose lives touched so many. Their legacies endure in the hearts of those who knew them, and through the treasured tributes left behind.
