Tom (of Rider Design Engineering), from Warden Hill, Cheltenham, died on 25 July 2026 aged 81 at Lilleybrook Care Home. A thanksgiving service will be held at Highbury Church, Oxford Street, Cheltenham on Tuesday 8 September at 2.15pm. Donations in lieu of flowers for Vale Wildlife may be given online or sent c/o Mason & Stokes, 54 Hewlett Road, Cheltenham.
Stuart passed peacefully at Southmead Hospital on 1 August 2026 aged 95. Beloved husband to Anne for 72 years and father to Richard, Peter, Joanna and Sarah with 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral service at Canford Crematorium on Thursday 27 August at noon. Family flowers only; donations welcome for St Peter’s Hospice.
Glenda (nee Sollars) died after a short illness on 8 July 2026 at the Sue Ryder Hospice, Leckhampton Court. Loving mother and grandmother, her funeral was private. Donations to Sue Ryder Hospice appreciated.
Elma of Prestbury passed away on 25 May 2026; leaves her son Rupert and grandchildren. Memorial service at Quaker Meeting House, Cheltenham on Friday 28 August at 2pm. Donations to Alzheimer’s Society welcomed.
David, who died on 21 July 2026 aged 79, was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Funeral service at Cheltenham Crematorium Oak Chapel on 20 August at 11am. Attendees encouraged to wear red or shorts. Donations to PSPA accepted.
Pat, who passed peacefully on 30 July 2026 aged 85, is remembered fondly by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral at Cheltenham Crematorium Willow Chapel on 4 September at 2.30pm. Donations for Dementia UK encouraged.
Hilda died on 27 July 2026 aged 87, leaving her children and loved ones. Funeral at Coney Hill Crematorium 24 August at 3pm. Donations support the Adult Swimming Framework.
John, formerly of Mount Pleasant Farm, passed peacefully on 20 July 2026 aged 95. Funeral at St Mary’s Church, Broughton Gifford on 20 August at 11am. Donations in memory to St Mary’s Church and Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Von (nee Nash) of Barnwood, died July 2026 aged 92, married 65 years. Funeral at Gloucester Crematorium on 18 August celebrates both Von and late husband Al. Donations to Dementia UK and Parkinson’s UK.
Bob of Gloucester, departed on 19 July 2026. Beloved father of three. Funeral at Gloucester Crematorium on 20 August at 2.30pm.
Peter, age 80, passed on 2 August 2026. Funeral at Gas Green Baptist Church, Cheltenham on 24 August at 12.30pm. Supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers; attendees asked to wear Black and Gold. Donations to Sue Ryder Leckhampton Hospice or Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Sandy, a passionate dancer and studio leader, died on 28 July 2026 aged 70. Funeral arrangements through Central Coop Cheltenham; no formal dress code, donations to Sue Ryder Leckhampton.
William died 21 July 2026, aged 52. Devoted family man. Funeral at Christ Church, Malvern Road, Cheltenham on 27 August at noon. Donations to Cancer Research UK.
Keith passed peacefully at home on 2 August 2026 aged 74. Service at Cheltenham Crematorium Oak Chapel on 9 September at 1pm. Donations to Cancer Research UK welcomed.
Andrew Leslie Rodgers died peacefully on 27 July 2026 aged 85. Funeral at Cheltenham Crematorium Oak Chapel on 25 August at 2pm. Donations for Acorns Children’s Hospice or Kate’s Home Nursing appreciated.
Katherine Willis, who dedicated her career to supporting older people and those with disabilities, passed on 30 July 2026 aged 79. Memorial at Gloucester Crematorium on 25 August at 12.30pm followed by a wake.
