Gloucestershire Councillor Stuart Graham Quits Reform UK Group, Chooses Independent Status

Stuart Graham, the Reform UK councillor representing Mitcheldean at Gloucestershire County Council and Cinderford East at the Forest of Dean District Council, has resigned from the Reform UK group to sit as an Independent. Although he remains a member of Reform UK, Graham clarified that he is no longer acting as a political representative of the party.

Elected to Shire Hall in May last year, Cllr Graham declined to comment on the specific reasons for his resignation from the group, stating only that he will serve as an Independent councillor at both the District and County Council levels going forward.

A spokesperson for Reform UK confirmed that Stuart Graham has resigned the party whip effective immediately and will continue his duties as an Independent. The group declined to offer any further commentary on the situation.
