Gloucestershire is set to experience snowfall within days, as forecasted by the Met Office and BBC Weather. The Met Office predicts light snow on Thursday, November 30, with the white stuff expected in parts of the Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds. BBC Weather also forecasts sleet on Thursday and snow on Sunday, December 3.
Temperatures are expected to stay cold throughout the week, with lows below freezing and highs in single figures during the day. Aside from the wintry conditions, the week is forecasted to be mostly dry.
Specifically, Coleford is expected to experience snow from 6am to noon and from 3pm to 6pm on Thursday, November 30, while Stow-on-the-Wold will see snow from noon to 6pm on the same day. On Sunday, December 3, Coleford will have snow from 5pm to 7pm, and Stroud from 5pm to 7pm.

Before the anticipated snowfall, the Met Office reports heavy rain across the county on Monday morning (November 27), which is expected to clear by early afternoon. The day will be overcast with temperatures reaching highs of 8C and lows of 3C.
Tuesday is forecasted to be overcast but dry, with temperatures dropping to zero and reaching highs of 5C. Wednesday is expected to be dry but overcast, with highs of 4C and lows of zero. Thursday will again be overcast, with highs of 3C and lows of 0C. Sunny spells are predicted for Friday and Saturday, with lows of -2C.
Additionally, BBC Weather forecasts a significant amount of sleet in the county from Thursday (November 30) through to Friday (December 1).
