Starting around midnight, an influx of sleet and snow will move southeast across the region, with snow accumulations of 1 to 2cm likely and up to 5cm possible in higher ground areas. Ice formation is also anticipated as precipitation settles on frozen surfaces, leading to hazardous icy patches.
