Starting Wednesday, 14 May, two Wetherspoon pubs in Gloucester will introduce an enticing new selection of gourmet burgers. Joining the existing burger lineup at The Regal on St. Aldate Street and The Lord High Constable of England in Llanthony Road, Gloucester Docks, these four new additions promise to elevate the dining experience.
The new burger offerings include:
- Cheese Meltdown: Choose between a 6oz beef patty or fried buttermilk chicken, layered with American-style cheese and smothered in a rich Emmental and Cheddar cheese sauce.

The Big Smoke: Features pulled BBQ beef brisket, American-style cheese, and maple-cured bacon, served with your choice of a 6oz beef patty or fried buttermilk chicken.

Buffalo: Combines fried buttermilk chicken, blue cheese sauce, fiery Naga chilli sauce, and American-style cheese, topped with a spicy chicken wing for an extra kick.

BBQ Stack: A plant-based patty stacked with six crispy onion rings and drenched in smoky BBQ sauce, perfect for vegetarians seeking bold flavors.
Each gourmet burger comes with six beer-battered onion rings, iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a side of chips or salad on request. All beef patties are made from 100% British beef, freshly prepared to order and fully traceable from farm to fork. The buttermilk chicken is crafted from 100% chicken breast, marinated in buttermilk to ensure tenderness and flavor.
Included in the meal price is a choice of drink, from a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Gourmet burgers are priced between £10.19 and £10.69 with a soft drink, and from £11.72 to £12.22 when paired with an alcoholic drink.
