Gloucester School Locked Down After Threatening Incident Involving Knife

A Gloucester school was placed on lockdown following a tense situation involving a man making threats with a knife outside the premises. The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, near Willow Primary Academy on Evenlode Road.

Emergency services swiftly responded, with a significant police presence seen in the area to ensure the safety and reassurance of the school community and local residents. Authorities believe this event is linked to a prior sighting of a firearm inside a black Renault Clio on Evenlode Road, spotted shortly before the threatening episode.

Importantly, the individuals involved have no direct connection to the school, and police are treating the matter as an isolated incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in either the knife-related threat or the firearm sighting.
