Gloucester School Locked Down After Man Threatens With Knife, Firearm Reported Nearby

A Gloucester school was placed on lockdown yesterday morning after a man armed with a knife made threats toward another man outside the premises. Emergency services responded swiftly to the scene on Evenlode Road near Willow Primary Academy at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 4.

Police established a significant presence in the area, staying on-site to support both the school and the local community during the unsettling incident. Authorities believe the knife threat is connected to an earlier report of a firearm seen in a black Renault Clio in the vicinity shortly before the confrontation.

Investigations confirm that none of the individuals involved have direct ties to the school, and the incident is being treated as isolated. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in either episode. Officers have not made any arrests but continue to conduct inquiries into both occurrences.
