Gloucester Rugby will kick off their 2026/27 PREM Rugby Cup campaign with an away match against Bristol Bears on September 5. The club has been drawn into Group A, featuring a strong South West rivalry alongside Bath, Bristol Bears, Exeter Chiefs, and Sale Sharks.
The PREM Rugby Cup format remains consistent this season, with 10 Gallagher Premiership clubs divided into two groups of five. Each team will play eight matches during the group stage, with two bye weeks incorporated into the schedule.
The competition will begin with the first two rounds in September, prior to the start of the Premiership league season. The remaining fixtures, including eight rounds plus knockout stages, will be played during international windows throughout the Autumn and the Six Nations tournament.
