In a challenging Round 12 Gallagher Premiership match, Gloucester Rugby suffered a heavy 17-36 loss to Leicester Tigers at Villa Park, with the Tigers lifting the Slater Cup in style.
Leicester dominated early, securing their fastest-ever bonus point within 15 minutes thanks to tries from Will Wand, Gabriel Hamer-Webb, and two from Jamie Blamire. Orlando Bailey and Harry Wells added further tries, bringing the Tigers' total to six by the final whistle.
Despite a rocky start, Gloucester managed to get on the scoreboard with tries by Matias Alemanno, Will Joseph, and substitute Dian Bleuler. However, these efforts weren’t enough to overcome Leicester’s strong performance.
