A Gloucestershire Reform UK candidate, Daniel Woolf, is contemplating taking legal action against former Conservative MP Richard Graham over comments made on social media. Graham’s Facebook post targeted Woolf, who is vying for the Hempsted and Westgate division at Shire Hall on May 1.
Graham urged Reform UK to drop Woolf, citing his dismissal as a grammar school teacher in 2016, and made additional disputed comments. In response, Reform UK accused Graham of resorting to desperate tactics to defame their candidate and suggested the Tories are “running scared” of their surge.
Woolf, who is considering legal action, said he was evaluating the situation. The Reform UK spokesperson emphasized that Graham’s actions demonstrate why Gloucester voters were right in removing him from Parliament, offering voters the chance to oust the remaining failed Tories from Gloucestershire on Thursday.

In the public post, Graham referenced a Reform brochure that highlighted Woolf’s past as a grammar school teacher, alleging gross misconduct at The Crypt School. Woolf is standing in the Hempsted and Westgate division, alongside other candidates from different parties.
