A man in his 30s from Gloucester sustained serious injuries in a three-vehicle collision near the Lidl supermarket on the A38 Eastern Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 2:55 PM on Monday, January 19, involving a moped, a red Volvo Estate, and a red Mini Cooper.
Emergency services responded promptly, and the injured rider was transported to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for treatment of a severe leg injury. Gloucestershire Police temporarily closed the road for around two hours to carry out a thorough investigation.
