Giant Vegetables, Monty Don, and Dinosaur Shows Highlight Malvern Autumn Show

The Malvern Autumn Show is back this September, promising an exciting weekend filled with giant vegetables, expert gardening advice, and family-friendly entertainment. Taking place from Friday, September 26 to Sunday, September 28 at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, this event is one of the UK’s premier harvest celebrations.

A standout attraction is the CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship, where growers compete to break Guinness World Records. After thirteen records were shattered at the 2024 show, attendees can expect to see colossal pumpkins, enormous marrows, and towering sunflowers competing for top honors once again.

The RHS Flower Show will also return, featuring some of the finest seasonal blooms from leading nurseries and growers. Visitors can explore the Floral Marquee, browse premium plants and bulbs, and get expert tips from RHS judges and experienced horticulturists.

Among the special guests is Monty Don OBE, renowned BBC Gardeners' World presenter and gardening writer. Monty will appear on the Garden Theatre stage on Saturday, alongside other horticultural experts, sharing insights and inspiration for garden lovers.

Food enthusiasts will enjoy the Great Malvern Cake Off tent, returning after its successful premiere in 2024. The tent offers live baking demos, interactive Q&As, and fun competitions for all ages.

The Harvest Pavilion will showcase over 100 ‘Grow to Show’ categories, featuring the best amateur and professional-grown flowers, fruits, vegetables, and succulents.

Families are well catered for with a dedicated Family Zone offering free activities and entertainment. The World of Animals area debuts an exciting new ‘dinosaur training’ experience, while the Vintage Village invites visitors to explore classic vehicles, enjoy dance events, and relax in a charming tearoom. Younger visitors can enjoy the traditional funfair rides.

Food and drink options abound, including seasonal street food stalls and the popular Westons Cider Garden, celebrating local apple harvests with refreshing ciders.

New for 2025, a weekend ticket priced at £35 grants access to both Saturday and Sunday, saving £12 compared to buying separate day tickets. Weekend tickets must be purchased online in advance, and camping is not included. Sunday is designated ‘dog day,’ welcoming well-behaved dogs with free dog tickets available online.

Advance tickets begin at £22, and children aged 16 and under enter free. For full details and bookings, visit malvernautumn.co.uk.
