Gang Threatens Couple with Swiss Army Knife on Gloucester Canal Path

A man and a woman were threatened at knifepoint during an attempted robbery on a canal path in Gloucester. The incident occurred around 8:30 pm on Saturday, March 7, between Wharfdale Way and The Causeway in Quedgeley.

Four males, aged 18 to 25, approached the couple and pulled out a Swiss Army Knife, demanding money. The suspects were described by Gloucestershire Police as white males wearing dark clothing and balaclavas. All were riding BMX-style bikes at the time of the incident.

During the investigation, police noted a woman with blonde hair walking an Alsatian nearby, who is believed to be linked to the group.

Despite a police search of the area, the suspects were not located. Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the event or has relevant information to come forward. Reports can be submitted online referencing incident number 461 of March 7.
