Fylde emerged victorious with a 2-0 win against Forest Green Rovers at home in the National League, propelled by a quickfire brace from Harvey Broad in the second half.
The 20-year-old forward, currently on a season-long loan from Coventry, opened the scoring in the 65th minute before adding a second goal just three minutes later, securing the three points for Fylde.
This result marked an immediate recovery for Fylde following their 3-2 defeat to Woking on Saturday, a game that saw Woking clinch victory with two late goals.
