Four individuals were taken into custody following a police pursuit on the M5 motorway in Gloucestershire. The incident led to a temporary closure of the motorway near junction 11A at approximately 9:20 pm on Saturday, November 29.
According to Gloucestershire Police, a group of people who had been chased by officers were seen walking along the hard shoulder of the M5, prompting the authorities to close the road for safety reasons.
All four suspects were arrested on suspicion of driving offences, including dangerous driving and failing to stop for police. They have since been released on bail pending further investigation.

The motorway was reopened around 9:40 pm after the situation was resolved. Gloucestershire Police emphasized that the closure was necessary due to the presence of the individuals on the motorway following the pursuit.
