Liam Kinsella has secured a new one-year contract with Cheltenham Town, including an option to extend for an additional 12 months. The 29-year-old midfielder joined the Robins from Swindon Town midway through the 2023/24 League One season and quickly became an integral part of Michael Flynn’s squad.
Having spent a significant portion of his career at Walsall, Kinsella also boasts experience on the international stage, having represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 level.
“I’m absolutely buzzing to get it all sorted,” Kinsella said. “I’ve enjoyed it here from minute one, and as soon as I knew a deal was on the table, there was no other club I wanted to be at. My family and I love it here, and I’m really excited for next season. Hopefully, we can make it one to remember. We have a solid foundation, and with a few additions, we can aim to be challenging towards the end of the season.

“The fans have been fantastic, both at home and away. I can’t wait to play in front of them again for another year and look forward to the first game of the season.”
Meanwhile, Cheltenham Town continues to negotiate with defender Tom Bradbury and Ryan Haynes, both of whom have attracted interest from other clubs.
