Forest Green Rovers have secured the signing of Max Robson, a talented 22-year-old defender, on a free transfer. Robson, who spent his entire youth career at Tottenham Hotspur, brings versatility to the squad, being able to operate as a right-back, left-back, and even as a holding midfielder.
During his time with Tottenham, Robson made 57 appearances in the Premier League 2 and featured in eight EFL Trophy matches. His experience and adaptability are expected to strengthen Forest Green’s defensive options.
Forest Green manager Robbie Savage expressed his enthusiasm about the new signing, stating, “He’s a very talented youngster. He’s our 12th signing this summer, and eight or nine of our new signings are expected to start in Saturday’s match.”
