Former Sky Sports Presenter Teddy Draper Launches Innovative Outdoor Fitness Concept in Gloucestershire

Former Sky Sports presenter Teddy Draper has unveiled a new outdoor fitness initiative in Gloucestershire called Triple Tonic, designed to promote active lifestyles, social connection, and mental wellness through simple yet effective principles.

The Triple Tonic concept is founded on three core elements: fresh air, movement, and conversation. “Triple Tonic isn’t a drink!” Draper clarifies. “It’s about harnessing these three pillars to enhance overall health.”

With winter months bringing shorter and colder days, Draper emphasizes the importance of staying connected to nature and maintaining physical activity. “If you could bottle movement, it would be a powerful medicine,” he states, highlighting the extensive benefits it offers to both body and mind.

Inspired by the joy of playing outdoor sports during his childhood, Draper aims to recreate that uplifting experience through exercise routines that build fitness, strength, and agility in a fun and accessible way.

“People often want to retreat indoors when it’s cold and dark,” Draper acknowledges. “But we’re animals who need daylight and nature. Here in the UK, a bit of rain shouldn’t stop you. Put on a good waterproof and embrace it.”

Triple Tonic sessions vary from structured workouts to relaxed ‘walk and talk’ gatherings, welcoming individuals of all fitness levels. Draper stresses that even simple activities like walking and chatting with a friend fulfill the concept’s goals.

Following Movember’s focus on mental health, Draper believes that integrating exercise into daily routines is crucial, especially as the New Year begins. Personal experience confirms that combining movement with social interaction can relieve mental fatigue and enhance mood.

“Movement lifts your mood immediately and boosts happiness over time, especially with conversation,” Draper explains. “Sleep also plays a critical role, and these elements support one another.”

Draper encourages people of all ages to prioritize fitness, noting that muscle growth is achievable well into later life. “Starting earlier helps you stay fitter longer, but it’s never too late to begin.”
