Cheltenham Town have bolstered their squad with the signing of 21-year-old winger Favour Onukwuli, formerly of Sheffield Wednesday. Manager Steve Cotterill expressed high regard for the young player, describing him as “an absolute first-class young man.”
This latest addition comes as part of a busy transfer period for Cheltenham, who have also secured Charlie McCann, Jordan Shipley, Pierce Sweeney, Joe Tomlinson, Shaun McWilliams, and Wyll Stanway on new contracts. Furthermore, Leicester City prospect Kirsten Otchere has joined the club on a season-long loan deal.
Cheltenham are gearing up for their upcoming match against Charlton Athletic, with kick-off scheduled for 5.30pm on Saturday. Following this fixture, the team will commence their League Two campaign with a home game against Rotherham United next Saturday at 3pm.
