Tim Westwood, the former BBC Radio One and Capital Xtra DJ, has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges of sexual offences involving seven women, with alleged incidents spanning from 1983 to 2010.
At Southwark Crown Court on Monday, the 68-year-old faced serious allegations including four counts of rape, nine counts of indecent assault, and two counts of sexual assault. Among the charges is an incident that reportedly occurred at a nightclub in Stroud, Gloucestershire, in 2010.
Dressed in a maroon shirt and black trousers, Westwood appeared in court to formally enter his pleas and confirm his identity but made no other statements.

The prosecution’s case outlines several accusations: four indecent assaults in London during the 1980s, three indecent assaults at the BBC in the 1990s, a rape in a hotel in 1996, two indecent assaults and one rape charge from early 2000s at a London residence, and two counts of rape at another London address in the 2010s.
Westwood has firmly denied all allegations made against him.
The court has provisionally scheduled the trial to begin on January 25, 2027. In the meantime, Westwood has been granted bail under the condition that he does not contact any of the complainants.
