Robbie Savage, Forest Green Rovers’ manager, expressed his excitement about the new acquisition: “Kairo complements our philosophy perfectly and adds depth to our already talented forward lineup. He’s a fantastic signing for the club and exemplifies the direction we want to go here at FGR. I’m confident he will be a success.”

Mitchell’s journey began in the Leicester City academy before moving through the ranks of non-league football with Nuneaton Borough, Coalville Town, Dartford, and King’s Lynn Town. In 2021, he stepped up to the National League with Chesterfield.

With 164 National League appearances and 43 goals across teams like Chesterfield, Notts County, Eastleigh, and Rochdale, Mitchell brings a wealth of experience and goal-scoring ability to Forest Green Rovers.
