Forest Green Rovers End Season with Convincing 5-0 Win Over Morecambe

Forest Green Rovers concluded their National League regular season in spectacular fashion, delivering a commanding 5-0 victory against a relegated Morecambe side.

The scoring opened early, with Jili Buyabu breaking the deadlock in just the 13th minute. Buyabu demonstrated great skill, shaking off his defender inside the penalty area and calmly slotting the ball into the bottom corner.

Momentum continued to build as Kyle McAllister doubled the lead 10 minutes later. The home team earned a penalty, which McAllister confidently converted, marking his 19th goal of the season.

After the break, Forest Green Rovers maintained their dominance. Substitute Gabe Kircough made an instant impact by heading home a precise cross from Jayden Clarke just two minutes after coming on in the 56th minute, extending the advantage to 3-0.

Ricardo Rees sealed the emphatic win by scoring twice in quick succession. His first goal came from a well-delivered Tre Pemberton cross, and shortly after, he capitalized on a rebound following a saved long-range effort from Tom Knowles, cementing a one-sided victory.

With this impressive performance behind them, Forest Green Rovers now turn their focus to the play-offs, where they will face Boreham Wood away on Wednesday night.
