Forest Green Rovers have reported an operational loss of £3,269,365 for the financial year ending June 2024, a significant increase from the previous year. The overall loss after tax amounts to £3,626,404. Despite a turnover of £7,935,177, the on-the-pitch success and the associated costs have contributed to the escalating financial deficit.
Notably, the tax on loss has undergone a staggering increase, rising from £6,831 to £355,980 between 2023 and 2024. This considerable difference in losses between the two financial years aligns with the club’s league status, as anticipated.
The strategic report emphasizes the club’s ambition to reclaim its position in League Two and beyond, while prioritizing investments in the first team and the development of the academy to support homegrown players.
