However, Hartpury responded swiftly—Louis Manning weaving past defenders before scoring, followed by a long-range strike from Nathan Jenkins to level the game. Shaftesbury briefly regained the lead through a Bradbury penalty, but Noah Coates struck a stunning volley to draw Hartpury level once again.
On Saturday, Jenkins continued his influential form, volleying home the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Exmouth Town, lifting Hartpury to ninth in the table. Meanwhile, Bishop’s Cleeve suffered a 3-0 defeat to fellow play-off contenders Shaftesbury, leaving them sixth and just shy of the play-off spots.
