FKA Twigs Cancels Coachella Headline Slot Due to Visa Issues

FKA Twigs has publicly shared her disappointment at having to pull out of the Coachella festival and postpone several US tour dates due to persistent visa issues.

The Cheltenham-born singer, 37, had previously faced setbacks in her US performances when a visa paperwork error led to delays.

She announced on Saturday that she would not be able to perform at both weekends of Coachella in Indio, California, as well as Axe Ceremonia in Mexico City on Sunday due to ongoing visa problems.

She expressed, “I’m devastated to share the news that due to ongoing visa issues I am not able to see through any of my scheduled tour dates for the remainder of April across North America, including Ceremonia and Coachella.”

FKA Twigs apologized to her fans and assured them that she is working to reschedule the affected dates as quickly as possible. She also mentioned that refund information for headline shows would be available at the point of purchase.

The artist, also known as Tahliah Barnett off-stage, was set to perform at venues in New York and San Francisco in April, as well as in Spain’s Primavera Sound festival and the Salt Shed in Chicago in June.

This turn of events follows the release of her third album, ‘Eusexua’, in January, which reached number three on the UK albums chart.
