Renowned DJ and producer Fatboy Slim has announced an open-air headline performance at the breathtaking Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire. The event is part of Forest Live, Forestry England’s celebrated summer concert series, showcasing live music amid the natural beauty of the nation’s woodlands.
In June 2026, Norman Cook—better known as Fatboy Slim—will perform at several Forest Live venues including Cannock Chase, Delamere Forest, High Lodge, Thetford Forest, and Westonbirt Arboretum. A pioneer of the 1990s big beat genre, Fatboy Slim is known for his distinctive fusion of funk, acid house, hip-hop, and rock influences that have shaped electronic music for decades.
This milestone year marks 40 years of Cook’s career in music. Reflecting on his journey from his early days with The Housemartins through Beats International, Freak Power, and his lasting success as Fatboy Slim, he commented, “To celebrate 40 years in showbiz, we’ve created a big book filled with memorabilia from my long and varied career. It’s a beautiful collection that tells the story behind my music and experiences.”

Forestry England, the organisation behind Forest Live, cares for over 1,500 woods and forests across the UK. Ticket sales from the concert series support conservation efforts, woodland maintenance, and tree planting initiatives, ensuring these cherished natural spaces thrive for future generations.
This year marks Forestry England’s third collaboration with Live Nation’s Cuffe & Taylor to bring the Forest Live concerts to life. Alongside Fatboy Slim, the Westonbirt line-up boasts performances by Rick Astley, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, and Deacon Blue. Fatboy Slim’s show is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, with special guest artists to be announced soon.
