Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Brewery is transforming the Farmers Choir’s Britain’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer success into meaningful support for farmers’ mental health with the launch of a limited-edition charity vinyl. All proceeds from the record will be donated to Shout, a leading mental health charity offering free, confidential 24/7 support.
Comprising genuine British farmers brought together by Hawkstone, the choir captured the nation’s heart with their stirring performances and personal stories, reaching the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent. Their journey has highlighted the often-overlooked mental health struggles and isolation faced daily by many in the farming community.
The vinyl release aims to raise awareness and rally support for the ongoing conversation about wellbeing in UK farming communities. In a social media message, Jeremy Clarkson shared his admiration: “They were just fantastic. These guys are all farmers, and they work incredibly hard for really, incredibly small rewards. To see them all on that stage with all that love in the room made my heart sing – I actually welled up. And thank you Amanda Holden for pressing that Golden Buzzer thing, I don’t know what that means but it obviously is important.”

Recent studies show 95% of farmers under 40 regard poor mental health as a major concern in agriculture. Hawkstone’s collaboration with Shout provides vital support through a free text service—farmers can text ‘HAWKSTONE’ to 85258 to connect with trained volunteers anytime.
Sarah Kendrick, Clinical Director at Shout, praised the initiative: “The Hawkstone Farmers Choir has given an incredible voice to the mental health challenges faced by so many in the agricultural community. We are immensely grateful to be the charity partner for this project. The funds raised from this vinyl will be vital, enabling us to train more volunteers and be there for anyone in the farming community who is struggling to cope. It will save lives.”
The limited-edition vinyl is now available for pre-order on the Hawkstone website.
