A heartbreaking single-vehicle crash on the M5 near Gloucester has claimed the lives of a family returning from a holiday in Cornwall. Andy Moore, Swala Harding, and their 14-year-old son, Sebastian Moore, died at the scene around 9 pm on Friday, May 30, while traveling between junction 14 and Michaelwood Services in Gloucestershire.
Their eight-year-old daughter survived the collision but sustained serious, though non-life-threatening injuries. A close family friend has established a GoFundMe fundraiser, which has already raised over £14,000 to support the girl’s recovery and to help cover funeral expenses.
The fundraiser message expresses deep sorrow: “On Friday 30th May, our dear friends Andy, Swala, and their 14-year-old son Sebastian tragically passed away in a car accident while returning from a family holiday. Their beloved eight-year-old daughter miraculously survived. We kindly ask for donations to help her adjust to this new life and ease the burden of funeral costs.”
