A family has paid tribute to Graham Pennycook, 64, who was found dead in the woods near a polo field close to Perham Down on 24 September. Initially treated as unexplained, Wiltshire Police have now launched a murder investigation following new information from the post mortem.
Graham’s wife, Jacky, described him as a husband, brother, uncle, and friend, as well as a Royal Engineer who served over 32 years. She recalled his cheeky grin and how his presence filled every room with life. Trusted by all, he was known for his kindness, generosity, and principled nature, always ready to support family and friends.
Jacky highlighted Graham’s many interests, including a passion for cars and watches, and fond memories of never missing an outing without an ice cream. She urged for respect of their privacy during this difficult time.
